Aside from her work as a live DJ, Sheila Locke aka DJ Sheila E’s 40+ years of contributions to PNW Hip Hop include co-founding the independent label Nastymix Records, which sold over 2.5 million records, owning the Zorba Foos and Area 51 nightclubs, and being the first Asian radio DJ on Seattle’s 1250 KYAC radio station.
