Luvva J (1976-2021) was a lifelong advocate for PNW Hip Hop. Aside from being a prolific live and mixtape DJ, he also held titles such as music director for indie radio stations like KAOS in Olympia, editor-in-chief for local publications like Seaspot Magazine, and professor at the Puget Sound Community College and the Northwest Indian College.
