About Brittany Howard
Currently wrapping her spring headline tour which runs through April 28th, followed by Bonnaroo Music Festival, Brittany will also be joining Hozier on dates across the UK and Ireland and performing at prestigious European festivals such as Glastonbury, North Sea Jazz Festival and Montreux Jazz Festival.
With five Grammy® wins and sixteen nominations under her belt, the powerhouse vocalist and multi-instrumentalist released her sophomore solo album WHAT NOW in February. The album found itself on multiple 2024 “must-hear” album lists including The New York Times, NPR, Grammy.com, Pitchfork, TIME, and more.
WHAT NOW followed massively acclaimed solo debut Jaime—a 2019 LP that earned her 7 Grammy® nominations in 4 different genres, winning the award for Best Rock Song with “Stay High.” The album also landed on best-of-the-year lists from the likes of Pitchfork, The New York Times, Rolling Stone, and was named NPR’s album of the year process.
About Michael Kiwanuka
Mercury Prize and BRIT Award-winning, Grammy nominated British musician Michael Kiwanuka introduced himself and his art with the acclaimed debut album, Home Again, followed by his decidedly left turn LP, Love & Hate. Produced alongside Danger Mouse, the album notably features the haunting hit “Cold Little Heart” from HBO’s Big Little Lies. KIWANUKA, Michael’s third and most definitive release to date, brought the singer of Ugandan heritage back together with Danger Mouse and as well as British producer Inflo. The eponymous album earned Michael the distinguished Mercury Prize in 2020, his fourth and fifth BRIT nominations, and his first Grammy Award nomination for Best Rock Album. All three records have been certified Gold status.
Michael has been keeping himself in good company as a regular contributor and confidante of the acclaimed SAULT collective and will have more information on new music to come soon.
