Popping Seminar
Learn the science of popping. Develop techniques that will improve your popping skills as well as your overall dance ability. Understand how, when, and where to use different popping techniques. Explore how these techniques are applied and are used together.
Grooves Seminar
The mainstay of Black American dance. A high intelligence, and complex pattern of movements. From syncopation and layering rhythms, to the ease and naturalness one can seem to exude. The groove is built into the cultural fabric and before you learn to apply any styles/traditions you should understand how to hold a groove.
After Party/Jam
A space to truly develop your dance and community. Get down and enjoy the sounds curated and mixed by Detroit’s Hidden Gem: keyboardist, composer, and selecta Jay Sound.
