Boogie Up The Block 2018 Recap

Much thanks to the community, neighbors and everyone coming together to make Boogie Up The Block / Off The Wall presented by Cypher Cafe, 206 Zulu and Voices Rising so special!

Thank you Historic Central Area Arts & Cultural District (HCAAD) for presenting a Cultural Space plaque to Washington Hall to recognize the historical legacy of the space.

Thank you Asun, Heidi, Piaf, Maine, Kitty Wu, Lauren, James, Colleen, Pele, Justina, Gaebriel, Alvis, Thirdeyebling, Becca, Korvus, Gregory, Jamilah, Mandy, Christian and all of the volunteers who helped make the event a success! Special thanks to our Young Ambassador Avery for her help all day!

Thank you Seattle Department of Neighborhoods, Concuss, Emerald City Classics, Jack Straw Cultural Center, King County Archives, Pongo, Creative Justice and Jujubeet Books 3000 and Imagination Station for the interactive and informative booths.

Shout out to all the crews that represented during Off The Wall including DHAN, Humble Ones, KT, Money Under Art, Moral Decay, OBH/KCT, One Again Crew, RNU, OY, RYG, UTL, BCX, Bam Reflexes as well as judges Specs One, Charms Won, and Apple. It is such a rare and truly momentous occasion to see so much of the graffiti art community coming together in unity. Shout out to RYG for winning the 2018 Off The Wall Champion Title!

Much thanks to all the performers who rocked it, including youth from Creative Justice, Nikkita Oliver, Rell Be Free, Dåkot-ta, Falon Sierra, Vic Hashim, Najae’s Beats, Specs Wizard, Rainwater Conglomerate, hosts Sword Scool, DJs Vitamin D, Sean Malik, Neebor, and Ms Broadway.
